Call for AbstractsNLUUG Spring Conference 2010
May 6th, 2010 A system administrator has a daunting task that is ever increasing in complexity. At the NLUUG spring conference, we would like to give system administrators a chance to extend and deepen their knowledge. It is therefore, that we are looking for speakers that have an interesting story about one of the many aspects to system administration, such as (but not limited to):
This NLUUG spring conference will be held May 6, 2010 in De Reehorst in Ede (Netherlands). Although the main language at the conference will be Dutch, we welcome English lectures and tutorials. There is room for lectures and a limited number of tutorials or demonstrations. During a lecture, the speaker will present their topic to the audience in about 40 minutes. A tutorial will be given for a select public and lasts about 90 minutes. We ask everybody with an interesting story to tell or tutorial to give, to send in an abstract before January 12 (extended), 2010, which will be judged by the program committee. Abstract can be sent in via an e-mail to the program committee. Speakers that are selected to speak at the conference will be notified January 12, 2010 the latest. The selected speakers are asked to submit an paper to be included in the conference proceedings and published on the web. Although writing a paper is not mandatory, it is highly appreciated. If you have any questions about the conference, or would like to suggest certain speakers, please contact the program committee via e-mail. |
