Car Hacking

Speaker: Daan Keuper

Abstract

Your car has changed from being a pure mechanical machine to basically one giant computer network that controls everything in your car. This of course has its benefits, but also intrudes new risks: what if a hacker could get remote access to this network?

During this presentation, we show you the remote attack surface of your car and show you how an attacker could abuse vulnerabilities to ultimately control things like steering and braking.
